You are never too young to incorporate healthy eating habits.  Gradually adding some healthier alternatives to your current daily routine should have a positive impact on your overall well being. 
 
 
 
Many adults gain an average of 1-2 pounds per year because of the slight decrease of their metabolic rate, a wonderful part of the aging process.  Research indicates that weight gain can be preventable in 90% of adults by burning an additional 100 calories per day in physical activity and eating 100 calories less with smarter food choices.  Balancing food intake with physical activity may reduce the risk of chronic diseases and increase the chance for a longer life.
